I am a project manager (geotechnical) with over 19 years of experience in industry and research. I am currently leading the geotechnial tasks for two major projects:San Diego LOSSAN Rail Realignment: https://www.sandag.org/projects-and-programs/featured-projects/del-mar-bluffs-and-lossan-rail-improvements/lossan-rail-realignmentand Southeast Gateway Line: https://www.metro.net/projects/southeastgateway/I have successfully managed a wide variety of projects from analysis and design of deep excavations in urban areas to seismic and geohazard assessment, to dam and levee engineering, and instrumentation and monitoring. I have served as an appointed member/secretary of the AKG20 Transportation Research Board committee since 2012 and lead the ASCE Geo-Institute San Diego Chapter for 3 years. I have published 7 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers and have been a technical reviewer of well known geotechnical journals and conferences.
