PEAS, a BPM suite, is the child of the organisatoin's R&D department. It forms a core part of the only commercial product in the organisation, Finacle. I was responsible for improving the performance and scalability of the BPM suite.This included profiling and performance testing of the system, designing custom connection pools, implementing distributed caching mechanisms, and implementing custom load balancers. By the end, we were able to achieve a throughput gain of 1800%.
