I, Mr. Md Kamal Hossain (Kamal Sahriar) is a Bangladeshi Broadcast Journalist. I Have 14 years of working experience as a Journalist including Television & Print Media. Now I am serving as Multimedia Team Lead at Somoy Media Limited (Somoy TV) is the Most Popular News Based TV Channel in Bangladesh.I started my journalism career with a regional newspaper in Barishal and worked as the district correspondent of a national daily. I went on to work for vernacular dailies Bhorer Dak, Daily Sangbad and Daily Ittefaq before venturing into digital journalism with Banglanews24 and DhakaTimes24.Later joined Somoy TV and I was Leading the National Desk when he left in 2021 for Ekhon TV—both channels owned by City Group. In June last year, I returned to Somoy TV in his previous role after a brief stint at Ekhon. As a National Lead I have to coordinate with the 3 Platforms like TV, Web and Multimedia. I hosted ‘Adommo Bangladesh’, ‘Tarunner Somoy’, and ‘Samprotik Vabna’ on Somoy TV's digital platform.
