Research using NLP and Deep Learning methods to explore the prediction of cell-type using T-cell receptor sequences.- Encoded n-grams from ~18,000 TCR sequence data points to feed into a K-Means Cluster algorithm to extract novel features.- Developing a classification suite using TensorFlow CNN’s and Transformer models for classification of cancer diagnoses.- Tested and implemented TCR classification models and results from multiple academic papers.

- Holding weekly tutoring sessions which are accessible for ~300 entry level Computer Science students.- Recruited by SFSU Prof. Duc Ta to help the CS department restructure CSC 210 - Intro to CS. Currently 15% of students use tutoring, and only 80% are completing homework on time. We’re creating incentives to increase these both by at least 10%.

- Started the Effective Altruist club at Santa Monica College to connect underserved, motivated students to help them conceptualize their means of maximizing their positive effect on the world.- Developed a network with the broader EA college communities such as UCBerkley, Stanford, and USC to connect students with peers.- Grew membership to 34 members, held bi-weekly meetings discussing EA research and future job opportunities, and planned community engagement activities.
