Alongside my academic journey in nanoscience, I maintain a semi-active career as a professional artist, primarily working with acrylics in traditional painting with a focus on surrealism. My work explores themes of nature, society, technology, and futurism, blending these elements together. While my artistic practice is mostly on hold as I prioritize my studies, I am planning to branch out into installation art, driven by ideas that merge natural science and art. This intersection allows me to draw from my background in nanoscience to create immersive, interdisciplinary works that explore the boundaries between art and scientific inquiry.Key achievements include:- Finalist, DM i Tegning (2012, 2013)- Exhibitor, Galleri Hjorth, Horsens (2017)- Invited Artist, Frederikssund Art Festival (2019)- Exhibitor in the curated event Output N° 4 on the 3rd floor at ARoS Museum of Arts (July 2021)- Facilitator, Co-Exhibitor, and Workshop Organizer, FLUKHX at Ridehuset, Aarhus (August 2021)- Invited Exhibitor, Mangfoldighedsfestival at UKH, Aarhus (September 2021)- Invited Exhibitor, Aarhus SOUP Vol. 7 (April 2022)- Exhibitor in the curated "Pinseudstilling" at Hirtshals Fyr, Hirtshals (June 2022)My work as both an artist and nanoscientist reflects a shared passion for exploring ideas and connections across disciplines, offering new perspectives on the relationship between science, society, and creativity.
