Welcome, everyone! After 17 years as a math and physics teacher, I am looking to change careers. I have been interested in using data to solve problems and to make informed decisions. This has led me to start a journey toward becoming a Data Analyst. In pursuit of this goal, I have learned essential tools such as Excel, SQL (MySQL and PostgreSQL), and Tableau. As a lifelong learner, acquiring new skills and knowledge is very satisfying!My extensive experience in teaching, coupled with a Master’s degree in Physics, equips me with a robust skill set which should transfer well to the field of Data Analytics. Throughout my career, I’ve honed valuable skills in problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking, communication, attention to detail, organization, planning, time management, adaptability, creativity, and more.Along with being a science and math nerd, I have become a craft beer nerd. The depth of the science involved in brewing beer is very surprising and fascination to learn. I have proudly achieved the level of Certified Beer Server from the Cicerone® Certification Program and hope to continue to towards becoming Certified Cicerone®.I'm eager to leverage my background and expertise to contribute meaningfully to the world of data analytics, all while indulging in my passions and fostering continuous growth.
