At ECCU I acted as a member of the Executive Management team heading the Accounting, Finance, Participations and Compliance departments. The balance sheet of the credit union was over $1.0 billion and there was an additional $1.5 billion servicing portfolio. My responsibilities included:• Interacting with the Board of Directors and Finance Committee with responsibility for preparing and presenting all financial reports, the annual budget and quarterly long term strategic forecasts.• Preparation and submission of the quarterly regulatory financial reports and completion of the annual independent audit.• Acting as the chairman of the Asset/Liability, Liquidity Management and Investment Committees of the credit union.• Day to day management of the Accounting, Finance, Participations and Compliance departments for the $1.0 billion balance sheet of the credit union and the $1.5 billion servicing portfolio.• Acting as the primary liaison to both regulatory agencies; the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and the California Department of Business Oversight (DBO)• Developing the policies and procedures for a diversified investment portfolio and growing the investment portfolio to $150 million.

My responsibilities included management of the Balance Sheet and all financial reporting. I attended the Board of Director and Finance Committee meetings. I chaired the ALCO and Liquidity Management committees. I oversaw the Accounting, Finance and Compliance departments.
