1997 - 2000: Software development on the CICS/Mainframe platform. 2000 - 2004: Software development and consulting on a wide range of platforms and technologies: Java, J2EE, IBM MQseries, Borland Delphi, Windows, UNIX, Linux etc.2004 - now: Software development and implementation on the Java Enterprise platform. Building custom software infrastructure to handle multimedia content on web sites - all the way from content transcoding to presentation and security. All years: Had a strong interest in following the open source development model, thereby gaining a lot of knowledge about utilizing open source software in existing projects. And spotting just the right tool for developing software for the full stack: database, application servers, business logic, JavaScript libraries, etc.Specialties: First and foremost: Keeping things simple, great communication skills, pragmatic approach! Technical skills including (but not limited to): Core Java, J2EE, Java EE 5, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal, Glassfish Application Server (Sun), JavaScript, HTML, ... Basically covering all layers used for (web) application development.
