Provided mentoring to student groups of Georgian College through their #Changethenow (#CTN) computer network as part of a pilot program to replace the regular Co-op term.The program required students to use the #CTN network to form teams, then study and provide a real-world solution to a problem based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #10 - Reduce Inequalities.Working with a co-mentor, I was required to provide guidance and a dose of reality to the ideas and solutions the students generated.

Kotyck Bros. Limited was established in 1947 by my grandfather, George Kotyck, and his brothers John, Nick, and Sam. Just like the original brothers, - we provide complete supply services to commercial and industrial manufacturers, government facilities, school boards, and mechanical contractors; from the sourcing of specified and approved materials from manufacturers and suppliers, through to machining, warehousing and delivery.- maintained the company's focus on supplying a wide array of products: pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF); hydronic rads, tubing, manifolds, pumps and boilers; heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC); plumbing equipment and repair parts; in a broad range of sizes, materials, and specifications. - began networking by joining the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) and the Canadian Hydronics Council (CHC); became a director of CIPH.- strengthened the company's sales efforts by hiring and managing an outside sales force and utilizing a CRM program;- expanded sales by establishing a successful branch in Brampton Ontario;- sold the business in 2018; gained valuable experience in the process of selling a business.
