I give IT support to some small business clients and offer software as a service. Those software include Webroot, Bitdefender, Teamviewer, and Connectwise. I also consult with clients for their IT related needs or projects. I work alongside them to give them a more definitive understanding of outstanding issues, causes, resolutions, and progress.Some of my responsibilities include setting up and maintaining entire networks, using equipment such as Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, and Untangle. Configuring secure VPN tunnels to connect multiple sites together with Untangle (IPSEC) and Cisco routers. Migrating clients to Office 365 and maintaining their platform. I also work with Windows Server platforms to take advantage of features such as Active Directory, Group Policy, and Remote Desktop Service.Apart from software, I also take on hardware related challenges. Some issues include troubleshooting faulty hardware in a network infrastructure to restore network connectivity. Also using critical thinking skills to diagnose issues with computers/laptops to be able to make any repairs that may be necessary.

Traveled all over the US to do subcontracting low-voltage work. Mainly focusing on the networking aspect of low-voltage, I started as a tech learning about cat6, fiber, and networking equipment. Most projects were running data cables to set up new network infrastructure, camera systems, and paging systems. Some projects I have worked on included WiFi upgrades for large corporations such as Sears, Harrahs, and McLane. Typically using Meraki or Cisco wireless access points and Cisco routers and switches.Our responsibilities were to follow the scope of work to ensure a successful project. Communicating with project managers on the status of the job and if there were any changes to the scope of work. As my experience and knowledge grew, I demonstrated my ability to be able to take on more responsibility. In 2016 I became a team lead and ran my own crew at many different jobs.
