Mark's has extensive experience in both software and hardware. He enjoys keeping current with the latest developments in both fields.Most recently Mark has started his own computer hardware rental small business with application to cryptocurrency mining, decentralized network nodes, as well as modeling and simulations. These efforts include building and maintaining servers, maintaining an array of ASIC machines, and regular updates to decentralized cloud nodes. Mark Kreider’s software development experience includes founding membership in several successful startups, successful delivery of both mission critical and enterprise-scale systems, managing small and large teams, developing patented techniques and architectures. Mark joined Oracle through acquisition of the venture-backed start-up Silver Creek Systems. Mark was one of the founders of Silver Creek Systems, where he led the software development team as the VP of Development. Before joining Silver Creek Systems, Mark was one of the founding members of software development at Sopheon Corporation. At Sopheon, Mark was the Director of New Product Development.Prior to Sopheon, Mark was the Director of Engineering for front-office products at the Baan Company. Baan had acquired Antalys, Inc., where Mark was the Director of Engineering for product configuration solutions. For the first 11 years of his professional career, Mark directed the development of mission critical, professional video equipment at AMPEX Corporation managing both software and hardware development.Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, majoring in both Chemistry and Math, at Colorado State University. Mark also completed several masters level computer science courses at the University of Denver.
