We founded SkillNet to help firms find and fix workforce skill gaps. We start by conducting a talent inventory to visualize workforce skills and gaps. Projects can stop at the talent inventory, but our favorite work includes upskilling and reskilling. We love tracking progress as people improve skills, become more productive, and perform better in their roles. With almost 30 years in the technology industry representing stellar firms like Oracle, Ernst &Young, Vitria, and starting two firms of my own, I've worked on hundreds of transformational projects. I've learned how important it is to have the right people, with the right skills, in the right positions. I've had a fascinating career working for high growth technology firms with a cast of talented experts in a variety of positions. Highly effective people had mastered all of the skills and knowledge for their role. They are always learning and engaging with others to share techniques and process to drive better outcomes.
