Miguel has more than 18 years of experience in Facility Management, assuring the maintenance and support to the hotel operation, taking care of the security and health & safety among Europe, Middle East & Africa. Miguel’s educational background is Industrial Electronics Engineering, Health & Safety and Fire Protection measures, together with Emergency Management.In his role as Technical Services Director has taken part in more than 50 new projects from scratch to the operation being accountable of the preopening. Miguel has coordinated the take over and opening of more than 60 properties in different countries abroad EMEA and Asia assuring the best performance of the different teams involved. He has developed strategies in Maintenance, Technical Services procurement, Health & Safety, Emergency procedures and Energy Efficiency.Currently working in the evolution of the Facility Management and Facility Services within the Company, focussing in the maximum efficiency of the teams. As Services Procurement Director leads a team of professionals to rethink services with efficiency in mind.Miguel is passionate about Industry 4.0 applied to the hospitality business as well as risk and emergency management, he is convinced that both are drivers to achieve the best performance in hospitality.
