Department - Advanced Facility for Microscopy and Microanalysis (AFMM)Responsibilities (Operation, Maintenance & Management of Lab facilities - Valued INR 150Cr):✓ Operation and Maintenance of Water chillers for PCW and Air handling units.✓ Maintenance of Split, Tower and Ductable Air Conditioners in the lab.✓ Maintenance of Electrical systems such as UPS, DG, LT/AMF Panels, Transformers, etc.,✓ Handling the Housekeeping, CCTV, Access control and Fire & Safety systems.✓ Operation and Maintenance of gas supply systems (SF6, N2, O2, Ar, H2 gen, Air Compressors).✓ Handling Purchase, Shipping and commissioning activities with vendors/OEMs.✓ Executing the PPM and Breakdown maintenance activities in the laboratory.✓ Ensuring the Inventory, AMC and Warranty Data of Equipment and utilities are documented.✓ Keeping the Event logs of both Equipment and Utilities Up to Date.✓ Learning the Equipment for better understanding of utilities optimization.✓ Planning and executing the building repair/renovation work.✓ Overall management of Laboratory Technicians and Equipment to get better outcomes.✓ Taking initiatives for improving the overall safety of the laboratory environment.✓ Ensuring the facility is running 24/7 with minimal/no interruption.
