Award-winning writer, composer, and producer recognized for his creative work by Columbia University, the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the John Lennon Songwriting Foundation, the Ohio Arts Council’s Individual Artists Fellowship Program, Writer's Digest, and the Collective-NY, co-founded by Amy Schumer.He currently directs digital media and educational product development for the Center for Innovative Practices, a nationally-renowned juvenile justice consultation and training organization, at Case Western Reserve University.He has written, edited, and worked in various capacities and assorted media, writing and editing for print, radio and television, producing educational and marketing materials, and Web production for the the Cleveland Cavaliers, Case Western Reserve University, the National Basketball Association, and McGraw-Hill Publishing. Has also supervised various editorial quarters of print media and served as instructor of English composition with Kent State University and Cuyahoga Community College.Studied post-graduate play writing, acting, and theater history at New York’s New School for Social Research/Actors Studio program and holds a Master of Arts degree in English from Cleveland State University.His short play, Breaking Up with My Mother, was selected for production as part of The Collective: 10 Play Festival, presented by The Collective-NY, a New York Theater and Film Development Company (among whose founding members include Emmy Award winners Amy Schumer and Kevin Kane).
