Studio Jayne is a design and innovation studio that works on projects that deal with gender-based violence, reproductive rights, sex trafficking, and advancing rights for women and girls. We are currently scaling Likely Story (formerly called That’s Sus!) — a digital game, in collaboration with Victim Services Durham Region and Ontario Network of Victim Service Providers in Canada.Here is how Studio Jayne and Likely Story began: At Design for Social Innovation MFA program at School of Visual Arts, a team of three designers, Meghan Lazier, Robin Newman, and I, gathered to build a product, a card game called Say No More, as design project. The game was designed to help young girls to learn about possible risky scenarios and awkward situations they might face in romantic relationships and discuss candidly with friends. Soon after, Say No More game received $20,000 grant from Sappi Ideas That Matter in 2014. This grant enabled the team to produce 500 more copies of the game and distribute to schools throughout three boroughs of New York City in 2015 with the help of ECPAT USA. In 2020, Say No More pivoted to a digital game, Likely Story, and has received over $750,000 CAD in funding from the following organizations: • Sappi Ideas That Matter• Telus • Durham COVID Fund• Public Safety Canada• Women and Gender Equality Canada

In 2019, a new taskforce team was formed and set out on a mission of building a brand new investing experience for the Millennials and Gen Z users in South Korea, which take up more than 60% of Toss user base. As the first designer to be invited and to join the team, I developed UX prototypes for easy, jargon-less stock investing experience for Toss's first MTS (Mobile trading system.)

Joined Toss in 2016 as the third product designer, around Series B. Today, Toss is known as South Korean unicorn fintech superapp, which is currently valued at $7.4 billion. With 11 million MAU, Toss (Viva Republica) now has a bank, payment company, insurance company, and stock brokerage company under its wing. My key role was to build seamless UX for consumer fintech products including micro insurance, P2P investment platform, crypto wallet, and bank accounts review. • Analyzed quantitative user data such as retention, user engagement, and conversion to iterate product UX and usability • Conducted user research through moderated and casual interviews and user testings• Developed visual design system and product principle within the design team • Consulted POs for product-market fit design strategy for new services and developed prototypes• Designed user interface for native iOS and Android apps • Responsible for initial front-end markup development with HTML, CSS and JQuery for products such as crypto wallet and P2P investment platform.

My key role as a Lead UX designer at the search tribe was to • Collect insights on user behavior and patterns through moderated user testings and interviews• Iterate UX and features based on quantitative and qualitative data, including A/B Testings, CTR, CVR and user testings & interviews• Create UI designs for Native Android and iOS Apps and website

• Worked with Harvard Medical team to develop new UX strategy and overall design direction and branding for their health monitoring app, Bon'App.• Developed personal branding project for Na Yeon Choi, LPGA professional, including brand strategy, logo development, unique pattern and color system.• Created digital contents and visual sketches of the UN Foundation's Social Good Summit in 2014.
