As campus director at GSP-Murray, I am responsible for the daily operations of the five-week summer enrichment program for top high school seniors in Kentucky. This includes guiding faculty and staff, as well assisting in the intellectual growth and physical safety of approximately 350 high school seniors who are high achievers.

For the Fall 2012 semester, I teach Law and Ethics, educating graduate students about values, morals, ethics and law as these principles pertain to leadership and the workplace setting. I am scheduled to teach Group Processes and Team Development in the Spring 2013 semester.

I taught Team Dynamics and Problem Solving as part of the college's chemical engineering program.

As copy editor, I designed pages and worked on special projects. I also edited news copy and helped news reporter to improve their writing. As a staff writer, I specialized in legal affairs reporting, covering numerous high profile cases, and education, attending school board meetings and composing several enterprise stories.

On a daily basis, I performed the late-morning and afternoon crime beat check as well as the courtroom beat. I also covered school board meetings and other events and meetings as needed. Stories were written and compiled for subsequent newscasts.

I called on existing and potential advertisers within a certain geographical area. I sought to increase my cold-call list, as this often led to increased revenue for the newspaper and additional income beyond the standard percentage for me.
