CurrentMEDIGROUP SERBIA is a leading private healthcare group in the Balkan region divided into 3 business segments (inpatient, outpatient, laboratory) and organized through (as is 2024) 12 health centers, 4 policlinics, 1 general hospital, 2 specialized hospitals, 1 diagnostic center, 1 central laboratory and around 80 laboratory blood collection points.It is the Central procurement department responsible for all Group members for a direct and an indirect procurement. The department implemented:~ 30 MEUR CAPEX excluding M&A capex (medical, non-medical, IT) with average yearly savings ~ 10%~ 14 MEUR OPEX yearly with average yearly savings ~ 5% and divided into:• Non-medical opex ~ 2.5 MEUR yearly - electricity, security, IT, telephony and internet, car fleet, insurance, non-medical consumables and services) etc.• Medical opex ~ 11.5 MEUR yearly - medical consumables divided into 20 categories (hematology, biochemistry and immunochemistry, serology, lap general consumables, implantable material primary for cardiology, urology, orthopedics, surgical), medical waste treatment, medical gases etc.The main CAPEX projects: Greenfield projects: 4 Health centers with a diagnostic department (MR, CT…)/Central laboratory/3 policlinics –construction works, medical and non-medical equipment, 30 BCPs Relocation projects: The largest central laboratory in Balkan region, relocation of 2 ophthalmology clinics at 1 location M&A projects and integrations: 2 Health centers, 1 Diagnostic center, 3 laboratory chains with 50 BCPsThe main IT procurement projects (tender management): Document Management System, System for call center day-to-day activities, Mobile and web application for patients, Hospital Information systemBusiness process design projects: CAPEX requests approval process design – Document Management System OPEX and CAPEX process – ERP implementation (MS Navision) / Central warehouse for medical and non-medical consumables
