As of 31st December 2020, Adobe Flash has reached its end-of-life. I re-scripted the multimedia learning resources in the Medical Sciences faculty that rely on this outdated technology from ActionScript to JavaScript and worked on their final presentation using HTML & CSS.

The Multimedia Anthropology Lab is a research network that examines the potential of multimedia tools (film, virtual reality, machine learning, data sonification/ visualisation...) in anthropological research. In this role, I worked towards the planning and execution of a four-day academic conference 'Multimedia Encounters: Experimental Approaches to Ethnographic Research', which was attended by over 1500 people from 78 different countries. I lead the production of the accompanying… Show more The Multimedia Anthropology Lab is a research network that examines the potential of multimedia tools (film, virtual reality, machine learning, data sonification/ visualisation...) in anthropological research. In this role, I worked towards the planning and execution of a four-day academic conference 'Multimedia Encounters: Experimental Approaches to Ethnographic Research', which was attended by over 1500 people from 78 different countries. I lead the production of the accompanying virtual reality exhibition, where I was able to develop skills ranging from three-dimensional modelling and design to leadership and communication. I also contributed to reworking the website in order to prepare for the surge in traffic and organised the virtual reality & machine learning research hubs. My work for the lab culminated in a paper 'Recursive Alterity: Experiments in Virtual Reality and Machine Learning', which I presented at the conference on the 'Algorithmic Thinking' panel alongside other researchers from MIT, Lancaster University and Akademie Schloss Solitude. The Bloomsbury Festival is a ten-day event celebrating the arts. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many events had to be socially distant and live-streamed to a larger audience. The filming and web-streaming team worked on implementing the technical infrastructure necessary to make this happen.During the festival, I filmed creative, handheld shots of these live events using a Canon XF305, which were then live-streamed via Zoom. This role allowed me to become familiar with sales and marketing platforms (Mailchimp and 1stdibs, Artsy etc.). Other duties involved documenting artworks and editing these photographs in Photoshop. The Marco Goldschmied Foundation is an architectural foundation that developed a project to archive and catalogue a collection of artworks by Will Alsop. I worked in a team throughout the entire duration of the project, which included around 600 artefacts that have not been opened over an extended period of time. This role combined the handling of objects and their recording.
