Principal Field Agent at Tomahawk Labs.I am currently the Principal Field Agent leading Tomahawk Labs, from Perth Western Australia.Previously I was the Chief Technology Officer at Whispir, where I served as senior executive responsible for web, mobile and platform software development efforts, technical operations, technology risk and compliance, and information security. Prior to this, I spent time in Singapore serving as the Group CTO at Funding Societies, and the Group CTO at MoneySmart. In those roles I modernised the product development and software engineering practices, introduced DEVOPS, INFOSEC, Data Engineering and Business Intelligence capabilities, facilitated significant hiring and retention efforts, engaged with local and international technology communities and promoted efforts to increase opportunities for women in tech.Going back further, I led The Frontier Group for fifteen years as CIO and co-founder. This was a role that moved through software development, sales and business development, Agile product management, partner relationships, digital programme oversight and executive duties with local, national and international startups, NFPs and large global companies including BHP, Rio Tinto, Chevron and Woodside.I graduated from the Computer Science programme at Curtin University and is an active advisor to the university's School of Electrical Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences. Matt volunteers with the McMillan St Dojo, Grappling Alliance and Australian Girls in Gi, as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor and advocate. Matt is married with three children.
