Worked at Telecom full time supporting the National Faults systems, performing Oracle DBA, SQL and Unix systems support on SGI Irix, Sun Solaris and IBM AIX.

Started at Eagle (then Universal Data Systems) as a analyst programmer working on Prime Information and Progress. During this time I developed in several languages, mainly Prime Information and Progress 4GL. I also learnt SQL and started working on Oracle databases. Many of my customers were running databases on Unix systems, and as such I gained a lot of Unix experience. This resulted in a promotion to a Technical Consultant roll supporting and install Unix systems on Sun, Mips and SGI.
