Aol acquired Gravity and after a year plus of operations, our product team was moved to Aol to take over the Athena Content Services (later Oath Publishing) team. Working with 2 other designers, we created the entire scope of the project from branding to working style guide to all layouts and mocks. All of this work laid the ground work to become the Oath Publishing team after the merger of Aol and Yahoo in 2017.

Gravity's mission is to personalize the internet. Through our applications, Gravity understands people's interests so that our partners can create more relevant experiences for their users. Our goal is to build a smarter internet that helps people sift through the overwhelming amount of information on the web, while delivering a serendipitous experience that exposes them to the breadth and depth of the internet.

I work as a freelance designer and developer, working in both print and digital format. From comprehensive design packages for print to web & mobile design and development, I do it all. I also sometimes work with truly gifted developers on bigger development projects. I am sometimes contracted by others to just do the design work, as needed.

Part of a team of 8 working on print and web design, video and photography and overall branding/marketing development. I worked with the PRH Marketing team also while serving as Creative Director of The Health Adventure since March 2011 (PRH took over ownership of THA in March 2011).

Brand development for our annual and capital campaigns. Work with marketing and development to ensure consistent messaging, appropriate sponsor/donor recognition, and partnerships.

Oversight of data gathering and entry, responsible for reporting to funding agencies, data management and integrity, and basic IT.

Designed, built, and operated a wholesale wood-fired bread oven. In 2003 began operating as a retail market for weekend flatbread/pizza sales. Had a cult following. Quit.
