I have the unusual ability to understand the perspective of the food scientist, operational manager, quality control technician, safety coordinator, environmental engineer, maintenance supervisor, client and consumer and to find solutions that meet everyone’s needs because at some point in my career I have worked in each role.My greatest professional enjoyment comes when creating a design for an idea that has been created on a bench top that will bring it to full-scale production and delivery. I like to get into the details and make sure that all the elements, both physical and procedural, are in position to make it succeed. I like to find ways to rearrange current assets to do something new and more productive.My ExperienceI have worked a variety of industries: Cottonseed Oil – milling, extraction and refining Citrus Fruit Processing – juice extraction and pasteurization, peel oil processing Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Processing – Retail fresh cut produce Flavor oil encapsulation – Granular encapsulated flavor powder I am always interested to learn about something new and enjoy having the opportunity to work through challenges, whatever the next product might bring.
