Legal Officer
CurrentResponsibilities:Manage, supervise, and lead Paralegals in their research and document preparation.Prepare and review contracts, memoranda of agreements, and other legal documents in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Negotiate contracts with contractors and third parties, ensuring favorable terms for the company.Draft and finalize legal opinions, position papers, replies, rejoinders, and other pleadings in courts and tribunals.Represent the company in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).Serve as an in-house notary and prepare documents for corporate governance, including amendments to the company's Articles of Incorporation.Collaborate with human resources and external counsel on labor and legal disputes.Supervise paralegals, organize legal files, and manage case inventory.
