I lead the testing of Limelight Steel's novel low-emissions laser furnace, researching and modeling chemical pathways, designing and performing critical experiments, and designing further improvements to optimize our process.

As the Co-President, I led over 25 students in the design, construction, and testing of a shoebox-sized, chemically-powered car, teaching mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering skills and fostering a sense of community at UC San Diego.

At Heliogen, I worked under the Power Island team developing a comprehensive air-receiver plant model in both Microsoft Excel and Aspen Plus. Physical laws and experimental data were used to predict plant operating parameters such as output temperature and range of operation given standard environmental conditions.

At HUE, an online zine focused on design and its many disciplines, I work with a focused group of co-writers to summarize interviews and create the zine's articles. With my fellow editors, I create brand guidelines on tone and content and revise our articles before they are published.

Through Engineers for a Sustainable World, I led the data acquisition team in designing and testing a passive solar desalination still for remote communities, installing Arduino-based temperature and mass measurements to compare our still's performance to published values.
