Create python web scraping scripts that reliably traverse, detect and mine data from small and large government websites containing bid postings (RFPS, etc) and records (tabulations/prior RFPs). Within 3 weeks, we met our contract goal for data ingestion. I primarily used Requests, BeautifulSoup, Regex, and Pydash. My scripts had better than average dependability, and produced well-formatted data to proper destinations. I inadvertently provided some “good info” to resolve a big data issue in slack according to the CEO.

In addition to managing the physics labs, I maintain, repair, and oversee use of advanced chemical instrumentation such as NMR, HPLC, GC/LC-MS, AAS, FTIR, UV/Vis. I perform liquid nitrogen fills weekly and liquid helium fills quarterly on our 300MHz Varian NMR. I am an advisor to the Astronomy Math Physics club, overseeing projects such as, building and coding temperature-humidity loggers for the AC efficiency study at Barry University. For two semesters, I taught Chemistry 095. I sat on the Administrative Staff Council of the university for over two years, which serves as an advisory board to Human Resources.

Introduction to Chemistry (Spring, Fall).Summary: Just out of college, I taught an introductory chemistry class for two semesters. This class is populated by students who failed the pre-test for placement in Chemistry 111. I used written homework one semester, and an online homework system for the other semester (in cooperation with other sections).Accomplishments: • My students generally outperformed students from other sections during the subsequent Chemistry 111 course.• Strongly positive course evaluations.

Assisted in teaching classes and grading papers for the first Berry College Tae Kwon Do class.

Participated in the Bonner Scholars program at Berry College. Bonner Scholars complete 140 hours of volunteer work in the community every semester, and 280 hours for two summers. Bonner Scholars also participate in team building activities and frequent meetings. I was on the leadership team for several semesters, which helps maintain the program. During my last semester, I worked in the Bonner Office. I exited the program my senior year to do research in a chemistry lab.

A temporary job at a car audio and customization shop in Toccoa, Georgia. I opened and closed the shop, performed sales, and installed audio systems.

I was the only student in years to qualify for this position with Department of Education IT. I rotated through several schools and participated in a number of county-wide projects. I was offered a full time position before graduating.
