Martin is serving as CEO of Ramundbergets Alpina Drift AB. The operations include Ramundbergets alpine skiing resort in the Swedish alps, hotel operations, a wide mix of in-house as well as external lodging, ski school, adventure guiding, restaurants, stores and ski rental locations, a golf course as well as several supporting businesses. Prior to joining Ramundberget, Martin spent 5 years with SkiStar, where he was CEO of two of the groups six ski resorts as well as served as SVP of Strategy.Prior to entering the ski resort industry, Martin was a strategy and management consultant with Boston Consulting Group, where he was a core member of the Nordic TMT practice with a combined 8+ years of first hand industry and consulting experience from the Nordic Tech, Media and Telecom space. Martin has also held a number of management positions within Modern Times Group, most recently serving as head of the Pay TV Africa business area and member of the Pay TV Emerging Markets management team. His experience includes management of large organizations and teams, corporate strategy, M&A, business development and B2B as well as B2C sales.Martin holds dual MSc degrees in Psychology and Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University. He has also studied statistics, political science and philosophy and published three scientific articles in the field of psychophysics and applied physiology.In addition Martin has a background in high altitude alpinism and ski mountaineering, being the first person to have climbed and skied the Seven Summits. He has organized and led expeditions to mountains such as Mt. Everest and Gasherbrum II in Asia, Denali and Mt. St. Elias in Alaska, Mt. Logan in the Yukon and Mt. Vinson on Antarctica, as well as a 700 km ski traverse of Spitsbergen. He has raced the North African Tuareg desert rally, won an East African offshore sailing race, is a regular freelance contributor to Scandinavia’s leading outdoor magazines, and a frequent motivational speaker.
