My research is currently focused on understanding adipogenesis and fatty acid metabolism, and specifically, the role of individual corepressor isoforms in regulating these processes. These studies involve the development and characterization of two mouse models of corepressor splicing utilizing various metabolic phenotyping techniques as well as next generation sequencing analysis of gene expression and metabolomic analysis of lipid metabolites.
