Led shipping and storage operations for large potato farm, which produced over 1M pounds of produce annually. Managed and developed a team of 14 professionals who worked across 4 warehouses. Built annual budgets, ensured buildings were repaired/maintained, shipped product per customer time/quality specifications and drove a culture of safety. Regularly monitored quality control data to maximize potato yield and implemented process improvements to maximize efficiencies.

Kandahar, Afghanistan / Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord, Wa

Promoted to transform a Chemical Reconnaissance Platoon into a Logistical Support group that supported Operation Enduring Freedom. Led a large logistics operation, which supplied goods and services to 14 military locations. Managed a team of 33 employees, which included driving, medical, security and chemical specialist resources. Tightly managed a weekly logistical resupply schedule that supplied materials to all locations and met service level requirements. Built a culture of safety by conducting routine worksite safety/risk assessments. Ultimately selected for an Assistant Operations Officer role to design the Squadron Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) program and lead a team of 100.
