About Michael Linders

Michael Linders has been graduated in civil engineering at ULB. He completed his education by doing a Master in management at the Solvay Business School with Marketing specialization.He is working since more than 13 years as consultant with an 8 years’ experience in IT Project Management.Michael has managed various projects end-to-end, from the identification of the business needs, to the organization of the operational support. He developed a specific expertise in the information security domain of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a large project within Sibelga that included the review of the processes, the setup of a Business Role Model, and the replacement of the tooling.Michael is able to discuss directly with the Business to understand their needs, but also with the technical team to translate those needs into concrete actions plans.     Michael has been the project manager of several IT Infrastructure projects within GDF Suez IT. Those projects were combining internationnal actors from France, UK, Switzerland and Belgium.The biggest project Michael had to manage, was considered as a strategic project for the group. The objectives of this project consisted in the setting up of a new infrastructure to allow the major upgrade of the authentication & access management solution and the migration of the 150+ applications that are connected to the old infrastructure to the new one. Michael had to manage a team of around 10 internal ressources, but also the intereaction with other internal departements and teams, and the solution integrators. He was responsible of the planning, the budget and the coordination of all the actors contributing to the project.
