Management and oversight of daily operations of the school, ensuring compliance with Wakisha Charter School’s policies and procedures, the rules and regulations of the Philadelphia School Reform Commission, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education and applicable federal policies and regulations. Supervision of personnel, which included work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluated performance and made recommendations for personnel actions; motivated employees to achieve peak productivity and performance; informed staff concerning current policies and procedures of the school and any directives implemented by the Board of Trustees and administered the human resources function of the school:

Engaged in the private practice of law with concentration in civil litigation (personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, workers' compensation) corporate formations, acquisitions, and financing, wills and estates, domestic relations, and real estate.

Developed, implemented and directed a nationwide program to recruit and enroll outstanding minority students to all undergraduate divisions. Coordinated efforts with regional staff and trained volunteer student and alumni recruiters to assist in the program. Designed plans and events to bring students, families, guidance counselors to the campus. Prepared annual budgets for approval of the program. Collaborated with large admissions staff and undergraduate divisions to ensure adherence to minority recruitment policies and philosophy in all interview, school visitation, and selection processes. Developed and maintained relationships/partnerships with university faculty, financial aid officers, school liaisons and community leaders.
