I was born in 1981. I received both the Master Degree in Physics and the Research Doctoral degree in Biophisics at the University “La Sapienza”, Rome, Italy.I worked in different settings: University/Research Institutions (University of Rome “La Sapienza” and “Istituto Superiore di Sanità”), Education and Private Companies (e-GEOS). I am currently employed, as member of the Algorithms Unit, under the Product Development and Innovative Services of e-GEOS company.I am currently the technical coordinator of the consortium (e-GEOS as prime with CNR IREA, ISMAR, University of Rome, University of Pisa, CNR IMAA) for the development of L3/L4 products based on hyperspectral data aiming at exploiting PRISMA and SHALOM mission capabilities. Foreseen products: water quality, fire fuel map, material detection, physically based vegetation parameters.I am developing the Water Quality Prototype for the retrieval of Phytoplankton, Total Suspended Matter and Bottom Substrate exploiting PRISMA surface reflectance.I worked as Algorithm Developer in the LIFE METRO ADAPT Climate Change Adaptation project, for the automatic mapping of urban heat islands from Landsat 8 and MODIS data.I worked as Project and Technical Manager in the Hyperspectral Imaging Mission Concepts project, for the definition of the mission and technical requirements for future operational hyperspectral imaging systems, assessing future needs of hyperspectral imaging data and related products and services.I have been involved in the development of the atmospheric and topographic correction of hyperspectral data in the framework of SAPERE-SAFE project (Space Advance Project Excellence in Research and Enterprise - Space Asset For Emergency).I have been involved in the development of the atmospheric and topographic correction of LANDSAT 5-8 and Sentinel-2A data in the framework of Copernicus Global Land Service - Hot Spot Mapping (C-GL-HRM) Lot 1.I worked as Assembly, Integration and Validation (AIV) responsible for the Multi-Spectral Image Simulator system developed for the GOKTURK Ground Segment (CGS).I worked as Project Manager and Application Specialist in the Spaceborne Hyperspectral Applicative Land and Ocean Mission (SHALOM) project, for the identification, definition, and specification of the application products to be intended as the project keystones.I developed algorithms for sea wind extraction from SAR images, in the framework of the Global Wind and Wave project, and radiative transfer models in the framework of the PRISMA Hyper-Spectral Image Simulator project.
