Manage a team of SRE/engineers in building and maintaining an internally developed Kubernetes platform built on top of EKS. This platform is utilized to make our video platform, and other RTC platforms within the company, Kubernetes native, scalable, and secure.The entire platform has automation from end to end and utilizes some of the following technologies: Calico, Kyverno, ArgoCD, Kubecost, Crossplane, Prometheus Operator, Grafana Operator, Fluent Operator, Teleport, Karpenter. Worked on a multi-threaded SIP proxy written in C++. This was a very large object-oriented system utilizing Boost. While working on it I implemented advanced call flows to allow multiple devices to be contacted either via SIP or Apple Push Notifications. Also implemented Tries to assist in fraud prevention by allowing the Fraud team to block certain phone number prefixes.Developed a voicemail notification system in Python using Twisted. It handles contacting voice transcription APIs and delivering the notifications via email and SMS. It handles 4+ million notifications in a single day.Wrote a payment gateway from scratch in Java which interfaces with different payment processing companies. This was all done for PCI compliance purposes.
