After the restructuring of the IT leadership team I have become responsible for Infrastructure integration of acquired entities such as Staples, Intersafe and others to drive IT synergies from these acquisitions and achieve significant annual run rate cost savings. So far this dedicated team of engineers and specialists has delivered Microsoft365 integration, full AD/Internet/Intranet domain migration of hundreds of servers and structured decommissioning of environments no longer needed. Currently this team is executing two separate datacenter consolidation projects. My other main focus is the team that is responsible for managing and developing all Lyreco Group EDI platforms and the EDI connections with customers (>15% of group revenue). The team is currently implementing a new solution for on Supplier Integration/EDI and is heavily involved in the implementation of mandatory EU e-invoicing in the different markets Lyreco operates in.

Responsible for the Infrastructure and Integration (B2B/A2A) landscape of Staples Solutions across approximately 20 office locations across Europe, 2 main datacenters and Microsoft Azure. - Compute & Storage- Network & Telecom- IT Security & Compliance- Workplace Support - Integration (B2B EDI and Application to Application integration/interfacing). Key initiatives include (Microsoft Azure) Cloud Adoption, Modern Workplace (Microsoft365), SD-WAN, Software Defined Security and unification/rationalization of our Integration landscape. Working from Amsterdam and Gdansk, with a great team of approximately 60 associates all over Europe, supported by local, nearshore (Czech Republic) and offshore (India) service partners.

Responsible for all infrastructure architecture for Staples Europe/Staples Solutions, managing two solution architects. This includes (public) cloud, on-premise, automation, cloud management etc. It also includes all the financials related to these topics.

Working at Staples Europe as Solution Architect and PM for the EU Technology - Technical Operations department focused on IT infrastructures for enterprise applications. Responsible for design, implementation, rollout and coordinating with 3rd party providers and software vendors such as COLT Technology Services, KPN and STIBO Systems. Current projects:- Datacenter & platform migration and scale out of infrastructure for PIM application (STEP/STIBO). Includes design, procurement, installation and database migration to Oracle Exadata X5-2, Oracle ZFS appliance and Oracle 12c database. - New infrastructures and support for several Pricing related applications based on Oracle 12c database, Microsoft .Net / C#. Future migration to Exadata.- Support for PIM and Pricing Infrastructures and project support for projects that have a dependency with these applications. (Self service) BI/Analytics environment based on Microsoft Technologies: SQL Server 2012 Database, Analytics Services, Integration Services, Sharepoint 2013.IT PM for Business process (Item Creation) centralization project from Staples Europe local Business units to Stuttgart, Germany. Client software deployment for all local (ERP) systems on Stuttgart workstations, connectivity to all local (ERP) systems. Aligning with IT in all EU locations and Stuttgart. New infrastructure for pan-European digital publishing department. Key systems: Perigee (digital publishing), ADAM (Digital Asset Management), SAP MDM (Master Data Management), Adobe InDesign.Stream Lead IT Infrastructure for PIM system Implementation. New servers, Storage, Networking, Security, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Client software rollout throughout EU. As Investment Analyst I was responsible for day-to-day contacts with insurance brokers about the Universal Life investment insurance policies of Hooge Huys, Cash Management and ad-hoc analysis of the Securities and Investment field for the department Director. During this period I also became Project Leader for the implementation of a new Real Estate administration application. My experience with this project and during my Business Economics studies lead me to pursue a career in ICT.
