The Kinsmen group was a diversified property development company that created a number of property investment funds. I was the AFSL Responsible Officer for the funds, responsible for creating, licensing and fund raising. Funds included higher-risk development funding, mezzanine financing funds, and commercial property holding funds.

The Coonawarra group was created as a Managed Investment Scheme (later 2 projects), and I worked with the founders from the original concept stage. Raising over $35m from more than 1,000 retail/super fund investors, the main trust was later listed on the ASX. My role included establishing the corporate operations and the office, hiring staff, all financial and reporting responsibilities, obtaining Product Rulings from the ATO, and preparing the company for the ASX listing.

Worked across a broad range of disciplines, including Insolvency (solvent reconstructions, administrations, deeds of arrangements, liquidations and bankruptcies), Business Services, Corporate Tax Advisory and Corporate Finance.
