M’Lou is the President for the Heritage Farmstead Museum. She serves as the chief executive officer and is responsible the overall management and operation of the organization. The Heritage Farmstead Museum is located on a 4 acre historic farm site in Plano that hosts over 30,000 visitors per year. The museum is the premier history education resource for Collin County.

Membership DevelopmentOversee membership management, recruitment and retention activities. Accountable for $700K annual revenue, programming, budgeting and relationship management. Utilize strong community, business and political contacts to build relationships and generate new members and sponsorships.Leadership Development and TrainingManage and implement annual leadership development program for young professionals. Activities include recruitment, selection, retreat/team building facilitation, programming, community service engagement and logistics, speaker recruitment and budgeting. Volunteer ManagementCoordinate and manage volunteers for multiple committees, events, technical assistance and community service activities. Highly skilled at aligning individual skills and passion with meaningful and educational community service activities. (10-100 volunteers per event) Special Events and Fundraising.Secure sponsorships and underwriting for membership events and leadership development activities. Assist with special event logistics an implementation i.e. FightNight and the Giving Gala (1000-2000 attendees), annual membership open house and diversity reception (200-300 attendees), monthly leadership development programs, quarterly new member breakfast and orientations, annual membership open house and volunteer days.Committee ManagementOversee Membership, Diversity, Associate Leadership Council (ALC), ALC Alumni (ALCAA) and Young Guns Committees. Direct report to Board.
