An accomplished interdisciplinary leadership educator and higher education administrator, Dr. Rocco currently serves as Senior Lecturer in the College of Education and Social Services at the University of Vermont and Faculty Director for the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs. Her scholarship and teaching focus on the intersections of identity development, learning design, and leadership theory to broaden the study and practice of leadership beyond dominant cultural narratives. Dr. Rocco has presented and facilitated hundreds of leadership learning and development experiences across the globe through her consulting, association, and volunteer work. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Rocco led organizational change initiatives as part of Deloitte Consulting’s Human Capital practice. She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Education and Human Development from the University of Maryland, and an M.A. in Higher Education & Student Affairs and B.S. in Business Administration both from The Ohio State University.
