If there is one common thread running through everything I have ever done, it is my unwavering fascination with communication (and lack thereof) in all its myriad forms, and if there ever was the one occupation that might satisfy my innate curiosity, that would be the one of a translator.My job is to find the right words to make cross-cultural communication run smoothly, to eliminate the wrong ones and to sort out all those in between, and I’ve been told that I am somewhat good at it. And fast.Being a communication buff, I make respect an absolute priority on all levels and in all directions, including respect for differences, deadlines, time, energy, resources. Speaking of resources, respect is particularly tricky as it is usually hard to earn, but it is always very easy to lose. In my case, however, it’s pretty simple: just don’t be an a-hole and we will be more than fine. I am a voracious lifelong learner, always on the quest for new ideas everywhere and anywhere and the staunchest critic of my own work on Earth – we are all work in progress, I just make sure not to forget it.I have an MA in Philology (English Language and Literature) from the University of Belgrade and hold the C2 Proficiency (CPE) certification from the University of Cambridge.
