Head Of Product/Developer Marketing

Product/Developer Evangelist

Htc

Taoyuan, Tw, Tw

Founding member of the HTC Developer Relations team, advocating for HTCDev's products and programs. In this role I ran our developer community, lead parts of the effort to build www.htcdev.com and launched products by speaking onstage to thousands of developers at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, doing press junkets and interviews. I also brought in over 100 Android app companies - everything from small startups, at the time such as Evernote, to large organizations like EA - to build with our value added OpenSense SDK focused around the Scribe pen on the then-pen enabled HTC tablets. And finally I helped organize events, run hackathons, do lots of public speaking and booth manning and swag designing and helped to direct our strategy in any number of other areas. Basically I was ridiculously scrappy - and were a great global team with lots of diverse talent that did a lot of good in a short amount of time.

Miami, Us

Attempting to leverage my Musical Theater Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA, I took a contract as a singer in a four person, all male, barbershop acapella quartet singing on a cruise ship that traveled to more than 35 different countries within the span of less than a year. Specifically I was the bass/barritone anchor responsible for keeping the beat and anchoring the chords. I sang doowop classics and elvis crooner songs but my favorite were the Frank Sinatra pieces I got to croon over. It was quite a singular experience!
