I oversee all aspects of the fleet operations. My top priority is to ensure our drivers are safe and have the resources necessary to keep their vehicle on the road. I am focused on keeping our fleet costs below budget. That entails managing all aspects of our fleet program - vehicle selection, ordering, aftermarket, disposal, fuel, maintenance, insurance, registration, safety programs, GPS, fleet policy, and billing. My job requires me to work closely with the operations team, field employees, environmental, health and safety, accounting, human resources, and vendor partners. • Compile, analyze, and distribute fleet data to the Field Supervisors (annual projected vehicle order needs, fleet trend data, fleet expense, GPS data etc).• Audits and approves all billing related to fleet operations.• Develop and track annual fleet budget• Establish standardize vehicle specifications and procedures for ordering new fleet vehicles. • Oversee the auto insurance renewal, distribute insurance cards, and incident reviews.• Keep data current and distribute fuel and maintenance cards to field based employees.• Manage GPS system• Develop fleet driver policy• Communicate efficiently and effectively with field operation personnel.• Track field equipment (ex: trailers)Special projects/tasks:• Department volunteer efforts• Lease bonds audit• Member NAFA
