• Designed and fabricated dry gas seal control system for 92barA, 8914 RPM compressor and 95barA, 8398 RPM compressor.• Designed, fabricated, and tested 30barA training panel for dry gas seal system. Trained the end user on dry gas seal installation and panel operation.• Conducted root cause analysis on high seal leakage, and frequent failure of dry gas seal. Recommended corrective action to end user to avoid seal failure and improving mean time between failure of dry gas seals.

I've completed my Master Science in Mechanical Engineering by full-time research. My research involved in combining machine learning and finite element analysis to predict burst pressure of corroded pipelines and I've published a couple research papers on the work. In addition to my research, I assisted my supervisor, co-supervisor and lecturers of my academic department in their undergraduate classes. I've supervised and guided 5 FYP students to graduation. I've conducted tutorial classes and labs on Statics and Solid Mechanics from 2019 to 2021.

PMB Silicon is a new silicon metal production plant, just started production in January 2019. I was responsible for implementing quality control measures at tapping and refining stage for higher silicon purity, controlling and optimizing furnace condition by manipulating raw materials recipe, tapping time and off gas handling system. I was involved in routine plant equipment inspection and troubleshooting. Data collection and analysis on material consumption, production consumption and furnace availability. I act as translator between Chinese operator and plant consultant of foreign nationalities (European, American and Korean).

Involved in Combustion Inspection on GE 33MW heavy-duty gas turbine and Hot Gas Path Inspection and Parts Upgrade of GE 123MW heavy-duty gas turbine.

Working alongside with mechanical fitters to overhaul 75kW diesel generator in rural parts of Sarawak.

Worked at Biomass Energy Research Laboratory on gasification & co-gasification of biomass.
