I have the honor of supporting individuals, couples and families as they navigate dementia, caregiver burnout, life transitions, chronic health conditions, ambiguous loss, and grief. My clinical work is trauma-informed, strength-based and draws on solution-focused therapy and mindfulness. Instead of looking for what is wrong and how to fix it, we are looking for what is right and how to use it. I believe people have the strengths and resources within themselves to deal with any challenge. I also believe that small changes lead to bigger changes, and that the focus should be on solutions and the desired future as opposed to only the problem and the past. I am passionate about working with older adults and people in the helping professions.
