As an engineer who has worked on everything from embedded software to rebuilding engines to machine learning, I like to joke the only thing I can't do is CAD. Over the last 10 years, I have worked on a wide variety of projects in the automotive industry ranging from light duty to heavy duty, test bench to in-vehicle, spark ignition to auto-ignition. I am undertaking a new challenge at SAE-ITC as a Principal Engineer Specialist learning both a new industry (Aerospace) as well as continuing to improve my collaboration skills and attention to detail developing standards for industry. I firmly believe that creativity is not a lonely process, and diversity of thought, backgrounds, and experiences will always lead to a better result at the end of the day.
