Michael J. Maksymow, Jr., is the VP & CIO of Beebe Healthcare system in Lewes, Delaware. As a result, he and his team:• successfully implemented a new Cerner EMR with approximately 50 solutions, within nine (9) months• met all CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 measures the first week of Cerner’s go live• received Cerner Consulting Project Excellence Award• significantly elevated HIMSS Analytics’ EMRAM score from Stage 3 to Stage 6 within three months of going live• are actively engaged with development and testing of various latest technologies (SMART/FHIR, CommonWell, etc.)• were recognized as 2015 Top 5 Best Hospital IT Departments by HealthcareITNews.Mike sits on several Boards and Advisory Committees in both Healthcare IT & STEM.
