I was so confident about my career change that I left my lucrative career in Accounting and took a job teaching Computer Technology at Gulf Shores High School, which was a one hour drive from my home. At the time, I had no formal training and was assigned to teach classes with no textbooks or pacing guides. Even with the challenges that most veteran teachers would consider insurmountable, I was instantly in love with my new career. After 14 years of teaching, I am now looking to expand my classroom size and venture into the world of Education Technology. As a teacher, I have prided myself on learning and implementing the latest technological trends. I am now ready to help other educators learn to use technology not only to engage their students in new ways, but also to make their own workload lessen by using technology to organize, streamline and create engaging lessons with minimal time and effort.
