This position offered the opportunity to oversee all events that took place in the ACES FUNK Library. It entailed talking to hosts and preparing rooms for events. As well, I was tasked with completing marketing materials and preparing/editing videos and PowerPoints for special events at UIUC.

As the Burrus Seed Sales Intern this past summer, I had the pleasure of working with the sales managers of Illinois in building and fostering relationships with new and current customers. I worked with the sales and agronomy team to ensure that farmers were satisfied with their crops prior to the Fall harvest. I retrieved pro boxes, delivered and returned seed, as well as signed plots and fields for farmers in different areas of the state.

Within this position I had the privilege to learn the retail aspect of a sales management position. I learned the screen printing and embroidery process, as well as the importance of clothing organization in a retail space. Throughout my time in this position I networked with a variety of large companies regarding apparel and advertising.
