I have contributed in a variety of ways in many start-ups that have grown to major companies. As a CTO and SVP Engineering I oversaw teams of developers around the world successfully developing software and consumer electronics products.As CEO of Wanderful, Inc., the company I founded, I continued to develop software delivering Apps for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows distributing these Apps world-wide with downloads and sales in over 130 countries. Wanderful was sold to the Jordan Freeman Group at the end of 2022, but I remain in an advisory position while transitioning technical and business information to Wanderful LLC, (the new wholly owned subsidiary of the Jordan Freeman Group, which also runs Zoom-Platform as a wholly owned subsidiary).As co-author of the book "Managing the Unmanageable" (2nd Edition published by Pearson/Addison Wesley), I often give talks and workshops on technical leadership and how to manage programmers successfully.I also consult with companies regarding technology/IP/best business practices and software development projects/issues and mentor those who seek to turbocharge their career paths.Word to the wise, “always send Mickey an email or call” if you want him to do something for you.
