I've set down roots here and don't plan to leave any time soon, though I do miss both the desert and Manhattan from time to time. I have a young son who is my favorite person in the world, a goofy Labrador that made me a dog person, and a partner of nearly 20 years whom I love walking next to through this crazy life. After decades of competitive team sports, I have found a new love of solo backpacking and hiking and try to get out in the wild of the Pacific Northwest any chance I get.
