Responsible for the entire budget, realization and accountability process of the operations directorate with a total budget of 90 million euros. Financially responsible for all operational ships and marine units. Providing financial information for commanders and the director of operations so that they can make informed decisions about the deployment of the units. Working on implementing a new budget structure in which commanders are given more budget responsibility and can make more of their own decisions within the budget made available to them. This requires various processes to be adapted, new processes to be developed and people to be trained in how to work with that responsibility.

Curaçao

Responsible for financial control for all military assets in the Dutch Caribbean. Producing budgeting products and cash flow schemes with a total amount of 20 million euros in account of six divisions. Overseeing purchasing processes, salary payments of local personal and infrastructural projects.

Den Helder

Part of the financial staff of the commanding officer of the royal Netherlands navy and responsible for staffing products for the navy. Producing consolidated financial and management products to inform the ministry of defence regarding the navy. Appointing budgets for the different divisions within the navy and producing cash flow products for the navy.

Head of logistics board Zr.Ms. Rotterdam. Responsible for all logistic processes on board of the Rotterdam. One of the largest ships of the navy. Managing 50 colleagues within four divisions: catering, financial/administrative, supply and medical.
