Managed a team of 5 Engineers.Responsible for UI and backend changes for multiple clients.Managing and developing a high stakes testing engine for a foreign country.Manage deployment infrastructure for large-scale distributed environments utilizing both cloud and local resources and incorporate numerous technologies including Docker and various AWS services including RDS, EC2, S3, Route53 and ElastiCache.

Created a new workflow for the Advanced notification system.Rewrote an hour SLA into a 5 minute, end to end SLA - with arming and activation all occurring in the time period.This was accomplished via Cloud formation, Lambda, API Gateway. Using cloud formation, the entire stack was created from a Jenkins build pipeline. The only thing that was not automated was the database creation at build time - as that was a set environment. For new environments, a parameter could be passed into the cloud formation scripts and it would create a new, lightly seeded database.

Worked on a data ingestion platform for MLS' in the Chicago and San Francisco markets.Used GO LANG to support this effort, along with amazon lambda and this was stored in dynamo DBWorked on the front end application using React and nextJSWorked on back end services use apollo instead of RESTful API callsWorked on mobile applications, both in mobile web and native, using react native.Created an event tracking system to follow users throughout the applicaiton, both in web and mobile

Ran a small team of developers and Interns on different scrum teams. Maintained my role as technical leader of this team and had a big hand in developing and architecting a back end bach process data analytics job. It ran nightly and had a performance requirement that was met and exceeded. The technology stack was mostly AWS for servers, mongoDB for a backend and HTML for the front end. I was responsible for the back end portion and had a UI tech lead to handle the front end.During this time I was also developing, splitting time between Java 8, Spring Boot, and NodeJS. Developed a few applications to fit into the new architecture of the platform. Deployment was done through docker and I mainly learned how to use it here, not really an expert.

Developing applications in Java, Flex, Python and Javascript while using Oracle CEP, and Oracle coherence.Helped design a new content management system with the lead developer / architect at the time. Worked with product as well as end users to come up with use cases based off of feedback from the previous tool.Started using Java 7 and AWS technologies during this time. The technology stack I worked with was mainly back end services interacting as rest with other services in our new platform. The technology I worked on did not have a UI portion to it, other then swagger. This was backed by a mongoDB instance, and the servers themselves were maintained by a database group, but all queries were written in java. During this time I took over technical leadership of a small portion of a product, and became partly responsible for a scrum team. The team was working on this same product and most of the infrastructure was in place when I came into this role, I just had to run with it.

Developing applications in Java, Flex, Python and Javascript while using Oracle CEP, and Oracle coherence.Helped develop java applications using a j2ee framework that included a front end built in JSF and hibernate. Hibernate was backed by an Oracle Exadata instance(s), which we had database engineers managing. Interacting with them was mainly to make sure queries were correct when used, and to come up with stored procedures that would be maintained by the database developers. The front end also had a big flex piece to it - and I worked with the UI team as someone building a data service. Most of this was not REST, as it was reflection with Flex.Major duties included fixing random bugs in the platform, working with both front end, and back end developers. During this time I wrote named queries, as well as some flex code for a few applications while also maintaining and developing java data services.

Software Developer.Develop high scale, lightweight applications using Perl, Mason, Javascript, and YUI libraries. Major work consisted of:- SSL cert system.- Billing System - Took care of most of the finance team needs for developing financial systems. Implemented a new PayPal API to make payments via this tool easier for the company as well as customers. Developed an Automated NGS weedout tool that would inform users of canceling the account with EIG if the account stayed in poor standing for 45 days. Helped with Reporting, guided an offshore team and developing systems within the billing system. Revamped an old HTML refund tool into a web2.0 refund tool for easy of reporting, and use for agents.- A segmentation spider that would collect data from customer sites and help the company profile our customers. Had a heavy backend module base, along with a neat UI for interal use- Implemented multiple 3rd party products into the system and help maintain old ones as well.

Tested software for the company, as well as developed and maintained automated scripts using a Java environment to code in. In addition, had tasks and presentations that needed to be created from the founder and CTO of the company.
